District newly appointed Collector Deepak Kumar Agrawal took charge

Gariaband: Deepak Kumar Agrawal, the newly appointed Collector of Gariaband district, assumed his charge at the district office here today. 2016 batch IAS Deepak Kumar Agrawal has been appointed as the 12th Collector of Gariaband district. During the assumption of charge, district level officers and employees welcomed Collector Agrawal by presenting him a bouquet. The Collector had an introductory discussion with the officials present on the spot. Also took general information about the ongoing works in the district.

On this occasion, Collector Agrawal, while discussing with the officials regarding taking forward the pace of development of the district, said that 100 percent and better implementation of the government schemes will be his priority. The common people in the district will be benefited from PM Janman Yojana, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and other public welfare schemes of the government. The newly appointed Collector Mr. Agrawal had earlier been posted as Deputy Secretary in Raj Bhavan and State Election Commission.

During this, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mrs. Rita Yadav, Additional Collector Avinash Bhoi, Deputy District Election Officer Teerthraj Agrawal, all SDMs and other departmental officers were present.
